Exam Instructions (Updated)

BTTM Tourism Academics

Students are advised to read/follow the instructions carefully before appearing the remotely conducted exam, everyday.

-Students need to answer, 10 out of 12 questions, in their own words, as far as practicable. Each question carries 10 marks. The duration of the exam is three hours.

Questions will be released five minutes before the commencement of the exam from the website.

-Copying the content/answer from other sources, if found, will be considered as invalid.

-Minimum word for answer of each question is 325 words. Total word count of the answer of each question should be mentioned immediately after the completion of the answer. [for example Total words - 308]

-In all the pages of answer sheet students should write Student’s name, Semester, Section, Question number, Page number of the answer sheet, and the Subject.

-Always start writing answer in a fresh page, with the full question.

-The pass mark of this exam is 55% of the full marks.

Submission of answer-sheets

-The handwritten answers should be sent to the subject teacher and the program coordinator in the picture format before 11:59 am. 5 marks will be deducted for the emails received between 12:00 pm to 12:59 am. The exam starts at 07:00 am everyday as mentioned below.

-Emails received after 12:59 am will be considered as invalid.

-The subject in the email should be written as shown here [#1/PoM/Q1,3,4]. Gmail allows 25MB limit to send files. So you may need to compose 4-5 email. Here #1 refers to email no. 1 as students need to compose few emails to send answers. PoM refers to the abbreviation of the subject mentioned in the question set. Q1,3,4 refers to the answers of the question number 1, 3 and 4 in that particular email. The attachment should be arranged serially as per the page numbers.

-Rather than sending all the files at a time, answer two to three questions and send them, and so on. You can send files and write answers simultaneously (if you are facing problem to send emails with attachments).

-If the students G-suite account is not working, one can send answers through his/her alternative email account. G-suite is preferred rather.

-Type-written answers are not accepted. Use black inked pen/ball pen to answer the questions.

-The sent picture should be clearly understandable.

-The same answer-sheets need to be submitted to the college later. So keep that safe.

Failing to abide by the same will be considered  as violence of rules.

Not following the instructions is considered as ignoring.
