Wisdom being defeated by terror,
Arms and weapons the apple of discord,
Mankind suffers on no account,
And stands at arms for unending years,
Wars are on the last cast,
To avenge oneself, and go beyond is the target,
Politicians play Kilkenny cats,
People shout cupboard love,
Brotherhood, bad to worse,
Hue and cry persisting everywhere,
Neighbours come upon buffer state,
Mighty nations inclined towards litigation,
Peace is piece and has to leave to live,
Everywhere there is take and give.
Today we arrived twenty-five century ahead,
Peace with Buddha is left far, far-behind and dead.
