Multiplier Event 1
The training covers the following areas: introduction to sustainable tourism concepts, strategies, the main stakeholders, socio-cultural aspects, environmental aspects, existing challenges, and digital-technical aspects of tourism in Nepal.

General Information about Multiplier Event 1
The training aims to build knowledge and share experiences among students studying Travel and Tourism, experienced stakeholders, tourism policymakers, and members of both the government and private sectors of Nepal. The knowledge generated from this training will help all stakeholders and students understand the actual problems hindering sustainable tourism development in Nepal. It also serves as a baseline for implementing the upcoming work packages training to be conducted in the near future. Additionally, these trainings combine theoretical input sessions with practical sessions, applying the learned knowledge to support the project's implementation. The content/format includes PowerPoint presentations, interactive group discussions, group exercises, and group presentations. Short input sessions and interactive discussions are major parts that will be focused on throughout the training session. The core intention of these group discussions and presentations is to bring consensus among stakeholders, students, and other participants regarding sustainable tourism in Nepal.

The training is planned for a duration of three days, starting on the 5th and finishing on the 7th of April 2022. On the 7th of April, there will be a short feedback session for each participant where they will share their experiences and knowledge gained through the training session. It is of the utmost importance to involve all participants to the same extent. The goal of these trainings is not to only include trainers and experienced stakeholders' perspectives but to benefit from the exchange of ideas. Suggestions from new Nepalese tourism entrepreneurs and students will be seriously considered during the training.

Participants will be divided into groups and given specific tourism-focused problems currently faced by Nepal. These groups will discuss the problems and propose practical solutions to strengthen the sustainability of tourism in Nepal.

Training Participant Specifications
Training participants need to be actively engaged to come up with proper solutions to the problems existing in Nepalese tourism as per the content and instructions of trainers. Therefore, the training participants are primarily:
